The Water Cycle

The Water Cycle The water cycle is a process of many stages. 1. Sea water evaporates into the clouds 2. The clouds rain onto a hill 3. The water soaks into the ground 4. The water makes a stream 5. The stream joins a river 6 .The river joins the sea

Facts On average each person in Dublin consumes 150 litres of water per day When you consider: There are 365 days in a year There are 565,000 people in Dublin The average person consumes 150 litres a day The people in Dublin consume 30,933,750 litres a year (150 multiplied by 365 multiplied by 565,000 is 3,093,3750)

What Can You Do? Reduce your water footprint Take a shower instead of a bath Turn off the tap Every day in the United States, people drink about 110 million gallons of water.

Facts If every household in America had a tap that dripped once each second, 928 million gallons of water a day would leak away. Public water suppliers process 38 billion gallons of water per day for domestic and public use. The average 5-minute shower uses about 15-25 gallons of water. 40 gallons are used in 10 minutes.
