There are two ways to make or form a comparative adjective: short adjectives: add "-er" long adjectives: use "more Two Syllable adjectives not ending in –Y Modern, pleasant moderno, agradable All adjectives of 3 or more syllables expensive, intellectual caro, intelectual Normal rule: use "more modern more modern expensive more expensive One Syllable adjectives: Old, fast, late Viejo, rápido, tarde Two syllable adjectives ending in –y happy, easy feliz, fácil Normal rule: add "-er" old - older late - later fast – faster Los Adjetivos comparativos nos sirve para ver si una persona o cosa es más _____ que otra. Ejemplo en español: El perro es más grande que el gato.
