Fertilizer Application The method of applying fertilizer will depend on the- Type of crop Size of the farm Stage of development of the crop Adding excess fertilizer does not necessarily mean that the plant will grow faster and healthier. As a matter of fact it can cause more harm than good.

Broadcasting Fertilizer is scattered across the field. This occurs in rice and sugarcane cultivation.
