Do it now! You and 2 friends order a pizza. It comes with 12 slices and you each eat the same amount. How much do each of you eat? How did you figure that out?

Seeing the ratios Seeing as each of you ate an equal portion of the pizza, the ratio would be 4 slices : 4 slices : 4 slices OR 1 : 1 : 1 if you reduced it by dividing by 4 If you ate half of the pizza (6 slices) and your friends each at 3 slice the ratio would be 6 : 3 : 3 OR 2 : 1 : 1 if you reduced it by dividing by 3
