                                                  Mercantilism Mercantilism: An economic relationship between a country (ex. England) and its colonies. Goal Sell more (export) than what you buy (import)

WHAT IS MERCANTILISM? An economic relationship between the mother country (England) and its colonies. The colonies produce cheap raw materials and ship them to the mother country. The mother country uses the raw materials to make manufactured goods. The colonies are expected to buy the manufactured goods.
