Presentation transcript:

Self-Knowledge (Sophomore Year) Lesson Five LEARNING STYLE Self-Knowledge (Sophomore Year) Lesson Five ADVISER: Take the Learning Style Quiz Tell students about your learning style and how you have adapted.

TAKE THE LEARNING STYLE TEST CIRCLE YOUR ANSWERS Add up your results NOTE: YOU Do NOT have JUST ONE LEARNING STYLE – we all have some of all three. Go over information on all 3 styles.

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN? It does NOT mean that teachers, professor, employers will change their style for YOU! HOW CAN YOU ADJUST AS A LEARNER? Who is mostly auditory? (What can you do?) Who is mostly visual? (What can you do?) Who is mostly kinesthetic (tactile)? (What can you do?) WATCH VIDEO (5:28 minutes)

DO ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: Keep a journal of your classes and how you used what you learned about your learning type for 1 week. List the classes you currently have and identify specific lessons and how you used your learning style to adapt. (At least one page) Make a video describing your type of learning and role play how you can adjust to different classes. DUE AFTER SPUD HARVEST!
