What is Learner Journey? What does it look like? What Information do I need to provide? Show students your e-portfolio home page on learner journey and share your information

3 E-Portfolio Questions
What is an e-portfolio? Is it Safe and Secure? When do I work on my e-portfolio? What is my responsibility?

4 ALWAYS BE RESPONSIBLE when deciding what to post on your e-portfolio.
Know that your Adviser can see all information and postings at any time. The School will discipline for inappropriate postings. You may want to use your portfolio for future educational opportunities and job interviews. You will share it in April You may want to use for career/job opportunities. Counselors may use your posted resume for scholarship opportunities. You also may want to use it AFTER high school.

5 LEARNER JOURNEY – HOW TO:
SIGN IN: GO TO MHS SITE THEN CLICK ON CATTRACKS or go to cattracks.weebly.com THEN CLICK ON Learner Journey Log-in User Name: MSHS_ (then upper case first letter). (then last name with first letter upper case) If your name was John Doe, your user name would be MSHS_J.Doe Some students may be MHS_J.Doe (Advisor: see group list) PASSWORD: Everyone’s will be changeme. You will need to change your password in settings

7 LEARNER JOURNEY HOW TO:
Introduction to the site and e-portfolios: Go to this page to see what learner journey provides for you. First two tutorials on “how to” use learner journey: Watch #1 and #2 learner journey videos. (2 ½ minutes each)

8 Log in to your e-portfolio
YOU HAVE ONE WEEK You will need to be signed up by the NEXT ADVISORY Any problems see Me (your adviser). Start working on your HOME PAGE – ABOUT YOU!

9 WHAT ARE YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUR E-PORTFOLIO?
ON LINE – Go to MHS/ CATTRACKS/Click on class year and E-Portfolio requirements Look at the general headings How many entries will you need this year? Advisory class will give instructions and direction (then YOU will do the e-portfolio entry for that month out of class. Be prepared to share it with the class.

10 CATTRACKS GRADING – Starting this year (2013-14)
SOPHOMORE YEAR – ¼ credit (P or F) JUNIOR YEAR – ¼ credit (P or F) SENIOR YEAR – ½ credit (P or F) 2014 Seniors: Senior Year = 1 credit 2015 Seniors: Senior Year = ¾ credit and Junior Year = ¼ credit Seniors: (as stated above) Each year passing = class attendance, e-portfolio entries completed AND presentation. MUST have passing grade for each year to graduate = 1 credit for Cattracks Advisory!
