In what region did the Inuit live? The Arctic

What kind of homes did the Inuit build? Igloos

What were their natural resources? Caribou, foxes, polar bears, whales, seals, walruses

How did the climate of the Arctic affect the Inuit? They had very little food and had to share resources

In what region did the Kwakiutl live? Northwest

Did the Kwakiutl hunt Whales? What did they use whales for? They did not hunt them. They used them for fat and food.

Where did the Nez Perce reside or live? The Columbian Plateau

What was their major resource for food? Salmon

What did they use to catch their food? Spears and nets

Where did the Hopi live? (In what state and region?) Southwest region in Arizona

What was the climate like? Extremely hot summers and very cold winters

What is a pueblo and what is it made of? A Hopi home Dirt, rocks, and straw

What kind of crops were the Hopi able to grow? Corn, beans, and squash
