BUSH BULLETIN 5 TH G R A D E September 12th Dates to Remember: Be Proactive (you’re in charge of you) Begin with the end in mind (make a goal) Put first things first (decide what’s important) Think Win-Win (get along with others) Think first to understand, then to be understood (listen & take turns) Synergize (work together) Sharpen the saw (eat well, rest, exercise) Research shows that one component of a students success is regular attendance. Please make attending classes a priority every day Check out our website (link is on the Brooks site) 5 TH G R A D E Chapter 2: Early Americans *Native Americans *Origin Stories *Migration Routes Students should be reading each night for 20 minutes and taking AR tests on the books they read. Books should be chapter books in fourth grade. Awards and extra credit will be earn based on AR points.
