Presentation transcript:

Ooh La La! The mini handbook!

Training Wheels This is a handbook for life skills. You can’t use it to run fast, or do good on a quiz, but this book will help you now and all through life. It is like training wheels. Use it now and love it well, and when it rips, or you lose it, you will have it in your heart, and you will always know how you use it! So read it wisely and love it well, and you won’t have to live your life in a shell!

Never Cheat! REASONS NOT TO CHEAT: When it’s time to go to college, will you know how to do what ever you cheated on? What would happen if the person you cheated off of got the wrong answers? When the teacher WILL find out, what will she do to you? When your parents find out, won’t you feel like you have let them down?

Be Nice! REASONS TO BE NICE: Everyone needs friends! When you feel bad, you can fall back on your friends. You don’t want someone to go home feeling sad, do you? You want to be remembered as the sweet girl, not the school bully! When you are in a fight, you should want to be the bigger person and just say your sorry!

Don’t be Jealous! WAYS TO NOT BE JEALOUS: For every one thing you are jealous of, think of something that you have that they don’t. Make a “pro’s and con’s” list of the thing you are jealous about. Think about what a person might be thinking of what you have and help them as well! Compare yourself to what the people who don’t have anything are like.

GO Green! WHY YOU SHOULD GO GREEN: When your great grand-children arrive, like your guests at your house, you’ll want them to feel comfortable, right? What if you were a polar bear?? When you draw the world, you probably don’t want to color the land brown instead of green. Green goes well with lots of colors, just don’t clash and wear the right shades and you’ll be fine!

REMEMBER: Love this well! Don’t cheat! Be nice! Don’t get jealous! Go green! ….and you will do just fine in life!
