Lab Rules

Complete Job Assignment

GET SUPPLIES Place Measuring Tools on Red Tray Go to the Supply Table to get ingredients If you spill please clean up your mess

WASH DISHES Fill one sink with HOT soapy water Get a dish rag from laundry area Wash dishes as you go Rinse Dishes

DRY DISHES/FOLD TOWELS/SWEEP Fold any towels that are in the white laundry basket and put them on the shelves Get 2 hand towels from the laundry area Sweep your unit and under your table Put up the four chairs on the table

PUT DISHES AWAY/WIPE OFF COUNTERS Place CLEAN dishes in the correct drawers and cupboards Get a dish rag from the laundry area to wipe off counters Keep counters clean at all times. Make sure the dish rag is wet and has soap on it

CLEAN SUPPLY TABLE/SET THE TABLE Put all perishable ingredients in the fridge or freezer. Place all the dry ingredients on the correct shelf in the pantry WIPE OFF the supply table Always place placemats on table and set table according to what you need.

DEMONSTRATE SANITATION SKILLS Wash hands for 20 seconds (use hand soap) Wear an apron Tie Hair Back Do NOT sit on the counter (I scream)

REMOVE HOT PANS WITH OVEN MITTS Do NOT use a hand towel or dish rag 

KEEP ELECTRIC APPLIANCES AWAY FROM THE WATER

STAY IN YOUR ASSIGNED UNIT Each time you are asked to go back to your unit you will lose 5 points in lab.

PUT EQUIPMENT BACK CLEAN AND IN THE CORRECT DRAWER!

Do not SIT on the Counter IT DRIVES ME CRAZY!!!!!!
