A+ answer: How did the Treaty of Paris lead to conflict? Treaty of Paris: peace agreement that France and Britain signed to end the French and Indian War. The British won and gained most of French lands in America (included is the Ohio River Valley).  Conflict: Native Americans continue to fight so the British forbid their colonists from going into the Ohio River Valley (Proclamation of 1763). This angers the colonists and they ignore the law. This creates conflict and tension between the British and the colonists.
