Presentation transcript:

The Design of LNG liquefaction Plant & Control Strategy development. MOTIVATION Due to clean burning characteristics and ability to meet stringent environmental requirements the demand of LNG has increased considerably and projection reflects a continued increase for the next several years. Liquefaction is the most energy demanding process so the optimum design must be develop to get the product with profit. CONTROL ALGORITHM The key manipulated variable to achieve fast and stable LNG temperature regulation are the compressor power ,JT valve openings, composition and flow rate of Mixed refrigerant the control strategy has to be proposed by considering these variable.
