1.1 What is school guidance counselling? School guidance and counseling is based; in the aim of ensuring the education of pupils through the educational process, (especially as regards the adaptation of teaching and learning processes and the transition between different stages and levels). It must also offer MAINLY: 1º The whole educational community 2º Advice and support to the whole school community including parents, students, and teachers and so on.

1.2 Are guidance and counselling synonyms? Guidance and counselling have differences and similarities so they are not synonyms at all; Counselling is based in a process which provides assistance, support by suggesting, opinion and knowledge to the educational institutions looking for the academic result and personal develop. School guidance focuses on orient individuals in any stage of their life processes such as reconstruction of self and personality, personal integration of related groups, organization staff attitude towards learning and problem solving and project of life.

1.3 Develop a PERSONAL DEFINITION From my point of view, advice and guidance means about the same. Counselling can be defined as an aid to guide the best possible student performance on the other hand orientation is again a kind of direct aid alumnado para and choose all that we allow a positive response.

4 What services are provided in the shool guidance and counselling programmes? Providing counselling in learning. Opportunities for in-career development. Practice. Participation in research guidance needs. New projects and initiatives. Guidance to students for every level of education (primary, secondary, adult education...) Counselling. Prevention. Guidance education. Consultation.

5 Who provides these services? 1º The director of the school 2º A guidance programme coordinator. 3º Two guidance officers. 4º An information officer. 5º An office administrator. 6º An education advisor. 7º A lecturer in educational Psychology Studies.

6 When are the school guidance counselling services provided? The guidance counselling service is mainly provided in cases which is necessary a support in social, academic and personal development. This support determinate the best way to help not only students but also teachers by developing programs in which are treat points such as how to work in the classroom, how to get an academic success, what social skills do we have to treat in classes and how to teach children to care themselves and also others. 6 When are the school guidance counselling services provided? 7 Where are they provided? These services are provided in schools: Elementary Schools Secondary school University Psychologists help in this guidance and counselling and it’s developed in adult schools and special education.
