Thursday 2nd May 2019 Some are called to holiness, through consecration, in religious life. Some are called to follow Jesus in a community, where prayer, both individual and communal, is central and where it flows into apostolic works. Their love of God is expressed through prayer, and working with those in need, around them. Reflection Why is prayer so important? Why would someone want to live a life of prayer, in a religious community?

Let us pray… Lord Jesus, We pray for all those who live a life of prayer and commitment to you, in religious communities. We thank you for their commitment to you, and for their continuous prayer, making this world a better place for all. Teach us how, through prayer, we can deepen our relationship with you. Help us all, to be the person, you want us to be, so that we grow closer to you, and come to know the depth of your love for each one of us. Amen
