What is a Manifesto – Post-It Note Exercise? What does it look like? What is it for? What should it include?

Definition ‘A public declaration of policy and aims, especially one issued before an election by a political party or candidate’ A manifesto usually accepts a previously published opinion or public consensus or promotes a new idea with prescriptive notions for carrying out changes the author believes should be made. Tips – Style and Format Present info in an engaging way – doesn’t have to be all text Highlighting key messages Narrative flow Clear but concise – think about readers attention span
