Pre-historic Egypt People have lived in the area since 200,000 BC About 4000 BC People began to establish small villages in Upper Egypt About 3500 BC People began to establish villages in Lower Egypt Up until unification, both areas grew separately from each other Each established kings to rule Each had their own distinct crown
