Critical Questions to discuss within your PLC Team: Have we established our team norms/expectations? What is our question? What issue are we addressing as a team? Now that we have chosen a solid question to focus on we can follow the Inquiry Model Inquiry model – These three simple questions will help guide and focus each meeting What are we doing? (What is our purpose/ how are we addressing the issue?) How is it going? (Is it working? What will the evidence/results be?) Where to next? (What are we doing between now and the next meeting? What is the focus for the next meeting?)
DuFour: Maintaining a PLC is where the real work lies and where accountability has often been lost. Once a PLC is underway it is crucial that all of the hard work does not go to waste. Teachers must take a shared responsibility in sustaining and building upon what has been created.
