TMIS 4.0 TRAINING MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM RURAL HOUSING RECONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION PROGRAM Data Collection & Reporting Methodology

What is TMIS? TMIS is database software developed by UN- HABITAT/Pakistan to standardize data collection and reporting across the earthquake- affected area. TMIS software is primarily based on four information products developed by the ABITAT/Pakistan.

Importance of TMIS TMIS captures data from the field reported by Partner Organizations and consolidated by UN-HABITAT field offices and generates regular graphic reports from this data. These reports, which can be tailored to suit the recipient, are disseminated to at country level to ERRA, donors, and other reconstruction partners, and disseminated to the field to the Housing Reconstruction Centres and Partner Organizations that collected the data from which the reports are generated. This enables all the stakeholders to make better decisions about resource allocation and capacity planning. TMIS has shown itself to be a very useful tool for monitoring and planning at all levels.
