Contents! Planets!!! Atoms!!! Suns and stars!!! Gravity!!! Time travel!!! Additional information Moon!! Universe Black holes and worm holes Space junk Recent history Alien life

Planets! Mars is nicknamed the red planet. Venus is highly toxic. Some planets have their own sun and sometimes have more than one. Jupiter is the 5 th planet from the sun. Jupiter has been explored on many occasions by robotic probes. You could go skiing on mercury because it is surrounded by ice but you would need a special suit as the ice is made of acid! Back to contents.

Atoms! You can fit 2000 atoms in the full stop at the end of this sentence. Black hole jets contain heavy metal atoms. Atoms are the general term used to describe pieces of matter. All of this is possible because of atoms: 1.Particles of matter. 2.Molecules. 3.Macromolecules. 4.Solar systems. 5.Organs. 6.Biospheres. 7.Planets. Back to contents.

Suns and stars! The sun is a star found at the centre of our solar system.solar system Light from the sun reaches the earth in about 8 minutes. The suns core is around degrees Celsius. A solar eclipse occurs when the moon over laps the sun.moon A super nova is created when a sun explodes.super nova When a super nova ends either a worm hole or a black hole emerges! The hyper giant Cygnus OB2 No.12 is the biggest known star. it's as bright as suns. Back to contents.

Gravity! Gravity is a mysterious force that pulls everything together. All objects contain gravity. Isaac Newton discovered gravity when an apple fell on his head! Did you know that in space everything floats due to zero gravity. Can you imagine earth without gravity? Back to contents.

Time travel! It is a well known fact that when you go to space you come back a few days younger. did you know that one of the many theories of time travel tells us that the universe will protect itself from creating a paradox by simply not allowing time machines to be made so time travel will never be possible!the universe Back to contents.

Moon!! The moon has gravity just not a lot. The earths moon has no atmosphere or wind, and the dust on its surface never moves. Foot prints left by the Apollo astronauts are still there today perfectly preserved. Back to contents.

universe The stars in spiral galaxies look like giant fried eggs. But spiral galaxies are actually shaped more like burgers. The buns are made mostly of invisible dark matter'. the stars are the filling. Spiral galaxies may be spinning round a black hole, which sucks in stars like water spiralling down a plug hole. Back to contents.

Black holes and worm holes If you enter a black hole you will be stretched out and it is called spagetapacation. There is a black hole at the heart of most galaxies. A black holes gravitational pull is so strong that it even pulls light into it. Back to contents.

Space junk Asteroid Ida is about as big as New York city and even has its own moon. The craters on its surface show it is relatively old. Comets may look amazing but they're just large dirty ice balls. Comets can destroy meteorites in its way. Comets were named after the Greek word for hair because of their long tails. Back to contents.

Recent history Oleg Kotov, Sergei Ryazansky, Michael Hopkins and Richard Mascchio have all been to space. Back to contents.

Alien life A comet making impact with a planet can doom for living creatures. Alien crafts are from both Ultra-Dimensional sources and sources within this Dimension. The U.S. Government has had a working relationship with Alien Forces for some time, with the express purpose of gaining technology in gravitational propulsion and beam weaponry. According to Turnbull, stars must be at least 3 billion years old (to allow life time to evolve), have low mass. Back to contents.

Additional information In 2006, astronomers changed the definition of a planet. This means that Pluto is now referred to as a dwarf planet. Learn more dwarf planet facts.Plutodwarf planet facts The first man made object sent into space was in 1957 when the Russian satellite named Sputnik was launched. Back to contents.
