Metric Vocabulary Graduate Cylinder-piece of lab equipment used to measure liquid volume. Mensicus-curved formed by liquid in a graduated cylinder. Displacement-difference between final point & starting point. Volume-amount of space object takes up.

Measuring Volume We will be using graduated cylinders to find the volume of liquids and other objects. Read the measurement based on the bottom of the meniscus or curve.
