I’m Not Scared by David and Anne Ellsworth, Music K-8, Volume 11, Number1 © 2000 Plank Road Publishing
When my neighbor’s dog barks through the fenced yard, I get scared.
I feel like I need to run away.
But I slow down and take my time ‘cause I’m not scared.
When my night-light burns out in the nighttime, I get scared.
That’s when scary thoughts come to my mind.
I close my eyes and go to sleep ‘cause I’m not scared.
I remember Mom next door, so I’m not scared.
When it’s time for music class each school day, I get scared.
I’m too shy to sing all by myself.
My music teacher helps me sing, so I’m not scared.
I don’t have to sing alone, so I’m not scared.
I’m not scared.
I’m not scared.
