I. BETHEL STRONG = TEAMwork

Acts 2:41-47 - Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

A team allows you to GROW Matthew 18:20 - For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst.

b. A team gives you ENCOURAGEMENT Hebrews 10:24-25 - And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

c. A team provides ACCEPTANCE 1 Samuel 22:2 - And everyone who was in distress, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who was discontented, gathered to him; and he became captain over them. Now there were about four hundred men with him.

II. BETHEL STRONG = TeamWORK

Psalm 104:23 - Then people go off to their work, where they labor until evening.

a. Work is a blessing FROM God Genesis 1:28 - Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

1. Work builds CHARACTER Proverbs 12:24 – Work hard and become a leader; be lazy and become a slave.

Proverbs 12:14 – …hard work brings rewards. 2. Work gets RESULTS  Proverbs 12:14 – …hard work brings rewards.

3. Work draws ATTENTION  Proverbs 22:29 – Do you see any truly competent workers? They will serve kings rather than working for ordinary people.

b. Work is a blessing TO God Colossians 3:23-22 - Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.

c. Work is a blessing FOR God 2 Corinthians 5:20 - So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”
