James 1:14-15

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full- grown, brings forth death. James 1:14-15

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7

And David's heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. So David said to the Lord, "I have sinned greatly in what I have done; but now, I pray, O Lord, take away the iniquity of Your servant, for I have done very foolishly. 2 Samuel 24:10 Our own consciences can condemn us of our sins.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 When we realized we sinned what is our reaction?

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 1:8 When we realized we sinned what is our reaction?

Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, " Where are you? So he said, " I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself. And He said, " Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?" Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:9-11

Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, " What is this you have done? The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:12-13

So the Lord God said to the serpent:" Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:14

And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel. To the woman He said: I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; In pain you shall bring forth children; Your desire shall be for your husband, And he shall rule over you." Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:15-16

Then to Adam He said, " Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it':" Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:17

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return." Sin has its consequences. Genesis 3:18-19

However, because by this deed you have given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also who is born to you shall surely die. 2 Samuel 12:14 Sin has its consequences.

Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Sin has its consequences. Psalm 51:1-3

Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom Sin has its consequences. Psalm 51:4-6

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Sin has its consequences. Psalm 51:7-10

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. James 1:14 We can avoid sin when we see it coming upon us.

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things. Philippians 4:8 We can avoid sin when we see it coming upon us.

Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full- grown, brings forth death. James 1:15 We can avoid sin when we see it coming upon us.

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. James 4:17 We can avoid sin when we see it coming upon us.

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7 We can avoid sin when we see it coming upon us.

Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. Matthew 5:48 Are you walking in the light?

No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Are you walking in the light?
