Conceptual programming in English MHPS TPL Week 11 2018

Why teach English through a conceptual lens? Group Talk: In your groups, discuss your response to the article ‘Preparing To Work With Textual Concepts In K-6 English’ using the following guiding questions: What are the benefits of teaching English through the textual concepts? What are the challenges for teachers? For students? If you were preparing a unit of work based on the textual concepts in English, where would you start?

Why teach English through a conceptual lens?
