Pros / Advantages 1)Extremely inexpensive (only $35 vs Apple TV $95.99). 2)Smooth integration with supported apps. 3)Easy and fast setup (The setup process takes only few minutes). 4)Useful accessories. 5)Supports multiple ChromeCasts on the same network. 6)People interested in streaming either use an existing device such as Microsoft's Xbox, Nintendo's Wii, Roku, WD TV Live Hub etc. 7)Supports Netflix, YouTube and Hulu. 8)Free 3 months of Netflix promotion. 9)Portable and Travel Easy - can be easily moved around.

Cons / Disadvantages 1.No local media playback. 2.Chrome integration is limited. 3.The beta screen-mirroring feature is not smooth. 4.Limited to four apps and no support for several major ones, including Amazon Instant, HBO Go, MLB.TV, Spotify, and Rdio. 5.No dedicated remote. Always needs a smartphone, tablet or chromebook. 6.Less features than Apple TV and Roku. 7.Needs additional power adaptor if TV does not have USB. 8.Very small sized device - can be easily lost.
