Building capacity among nurses International Society of Nurses in Cancer Care the mission to enhance access to cancer prevention and care through nursing best practices. Project: Building Capacity of Portuguese Nurses to be Tobacco Control Champions Workshop program To support 50-100 nurses who attend a Training-of-trainers on tobacco dependence treatment in implementing additional trainings at their home institution online educational program To recruit 150 nurses to participate in including an online baseline survey and an online 3-months survey post implementation of the program

e-learning program 20-minute e-learning courses offered via webcast Will be on the role of nurses in smoking cessation interventions Will be on smoking cessation in oncology settings Online informed consent and short pre-test of knowledge, skills and attitudes related to tobacco control and smoking cessation interventions will be completed immediately before access to the e-learning courses Online 3-month post-test, to the e-learning program
