Vides aizsardzības un siltuma sistēmu institūts 10 Conclusions Demand side management effect to reduction of consumption of energy resources. It creates decrease of DH system energy efficiency. Due the variety of situations related to the renovation and redesigning of the DH supply system different ad- hoc strategic solution and schemes have to be adopted for each municipality.
