Dissolving You will need: Cups Warm/cold water (BE CAREFUL IF USING HOT WATER- ASK ADULTS TO HELP) Substances to try and dissolve (for example: sand, sugar, salt, coffee etc.) What to do: Use the table below to predict what will happen to your chosen substance Use a spoon to put substance in water and stir. (Will stirring more/quicker make a difference?) Observe and record what happens. Write down why you think this happens. Substance Prediction Result Why do you think this happened?
