All Living Things Need Water

Every animal needs to drink water to survive, like this cheetah Mention that we drink too, and plants also need water to survive too.

All Living Things Need Air There are two kinds of air, oxygen and carbon dioxide. animals breathe oxygen and plants breathe carbon dioxide.

Animals need shelter for protection from rain and other animals Name example of shelters like this barn, a bird nest, and our houses that we live in

PLANTS Let the kids know the different types of plants such as a tree, flower, etc.

SUNLIGHT Sunlight gives Plants energy to make food and grow! The sun’s energy is converted through the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis converts

WATER Water keeps the soil wet so that it can stay healthy! Water keeps the soil moist so that the soil will not get dried out and will hold more nutrients for the plants to live.

Why do we need plants? 1)Plants help give oxygen so we can breathe. 2) Plants get rid of pollution Plants take the carbon from the pollution and in turn create oxygen.

How to Grow a Plant? STEP 1: Get a seed and plant it in soil. Step 2: leave the plant where sun can hit it and water it everyday! Plants need both water and the sun in order to grow, but keep in mind that excessiveness in one the two will hurt the plant.
