Heredity Notes

Why do we look like our parents? We look like our parents because of heredity.

What is heredity? Heredity is the passing down of traits through generations from parents to their offspring (children).

What is genetics? Genetics is the study of heredity. Someone who studies heredity is called a Geneticists.
