Immigration The green party calls for a permanent border pass for all Mexicans and Canadians whose identity can be traced and certified. They believe work permits for immigrants should be more easily obtainable and jobs should not be more difficult to get.

What They Are About... The Green party is a political party based on the ideas of “green” politics. They focus on social justice, non violence, gender equality, LGBT, anti-war, and environmental issues. It is seen as left-wing, and in 2016 officially self-described as an “eco-socialist” party.

In May 1984, the progressive politics in the United States fought for survival, The Green movement Committee was founded with the goal of “the formation of a political organization in the USA”. When the green movement was just starting, it was taking root in West Germany.

Social Justice “Falling wages and rising bills are hitting most of us, and the most vulnerable are hit the hardest. We demand a living wage and a real safety net.”

Democracy “We demand public financing of elections, open debates, and more representative voting systems.”
