What is Moscow art?? This type of theater was created in 1897. Its work of art created new concepts of theatrical and marked the beginning of modern theater. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpEGXrDSXo8

1st who, Constantin Stanislavsky Russian theatrical director, teacher, and actor, whose original name was Constantin Sergeyevich Alekseyev. Cofounder with Vladimir Nemirovich-Danchenko. As a director, he stressed ensemble acting as well as complete coordination of all phases of production. His outstanding productions included many of the plays of Chekhov in which he tried to strip away rhetorical clichés to enter the emotional core and complex psychology of the characters. He really stressed the importance of the actors identification with the character and the actors natural use of body and voice.

2nd who, Nemirovich-Danchenko Cofounder and director to the Moscow Art Theater. He was an actor, war correspondent, novelist, music and drama critic, and play writer. After publication of his last novel, On the Steppes (1897), he devoted all his efforts to the Moscow Art Theatre

When???? Both have never met before and just got to talking to each other about how they wasn’t happy with the drama in their lives. The dissatisfaction with the state of the Russian stage, which they both strongly felt, brought them together on that eventful day in June of 1897, and resulted in the establishment of the Moscow Art Theatre.
