Jobs What do you want to be when you grow up? All over the world, people do different kinds of work to earn the money to buy their food, clothes, and home. Jobs

Jobs Children have ideas what their jobs will be at a very early age. But their decisions are not conscious. A uniform they like, a title, or their heroes are enough to choose their future jobs. They choose their real jobs much later. Jobs

Astronauts are people who work in space. Some fly spacecraft. Others do science experiments in space. The astronaut in this picture is in space. Astronauts

There are markets selling food and other goods in almost every town and city. This woman is selling fruit and vegetables from her market stall. Market Sellers

Vets If your pet is ill, you take it to the vet. Vets look after sick and injured animals. Some vets treat small animals, such as cats and dogs. Others work with farm or zoo animals. Vets

Game designers create the rules, characters, settings, and stories for new games. They use computer programming languages to write the required code. Game Designers

Air Traffic Controllers Air Traffic Controllers monitor and communicate helpful information to pilots. They monitor and report changes in wind and weather, provide takeoff and landing instructions. Air Traffic Controllers

Engineers design or make such things as cars, planes, machines, and buildings. To be an engineer, you need to be good at science and mathematics. EngineerS

Journalist gather information, write news pieces, and present the news in an honest and balanced manner. They also work on articles and features that update and influence public opinion. Journalists

Truck drivers transport materials and goods among manufacturing, distribution and retail centers. Other duties include inspecting their vehicles for mechanical issues and basic repair work. Truck Drivers
