City’s Flood Action Plan Communication Email notifications via city’s website will be primary source of communication to residents Door-to-door visits may be conducted for more urgent matters Flood updates and forecasts will be posted on the city’s website under “City Information” www.ci.bayport.mn.us

Evacuation and Clean-up Procedures for voluntary evacuation Residents shall notify Bayport Police Department if away from home (due to vacation or flooding) Procedures for mandatory evacuation City to notify residents by door-to-door visits City may order any building or portion of a building to be vacated if continued use is dangerous to life, health, or safety of the occupants or on the basis that the level of the river has put city personnel and/or equipment in danger

Evacuation and Clean-up Procedures for clean-up Sandbags become hazardous material after being exposed to flood water Residents will be responsible for disposing of sandbags in a proper manner
