Deuteronomy 15:7-8 “If there is a poor man among your brothers in any of the towns of the land that the Lord your God is giving you, do not be hardhearted or tightfisted toward your poor brother. Rather be openhanded and freely lend him whatever he needs.”

“He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord…” Proverbs 19:17 “He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord…”

Matthew 25:37-40 “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did wee see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King

Matthew 25:37-40 will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me.’”

Acts 4:34-35 “There was no needy person among them… and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.”

1 John 3:17 “If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?”
