Who’s in Charge Here? 12:1-24

Acts 12 Recognize the Conflict (1-4). Don’t Panic (5-11). Pray for God’s People (12-19). Acts 12

First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. Acts 12

This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 Acts 12

Acts 12 Recognize the Conflict (1-4). Don’t Panic (5-11). Pray for God’s People (12-19). Anticipate God’s Justice (20-24). Acts 12

Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!” Acts 12

He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, “But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain.” Psalm 2:1-6 Acts 12

Acts 12 Focus on representing Jesus. Pray for the Church and the nation. Participate in politics with an eternal mindset. Acts 12
