Business Plan Presentations May 2, 4, 9, 11

Business Plan Presentations You will present your business to the class. You should complete your presentation in about 5 minutes. You will use PowerPoint slides to illustrate your presentation.   Your presentation will have this outline: Slide 1 – your name, the name of the company, a description of the company Slide 2- What makes your company special. Why would customers choose your business rather than one of the competitors? Slide 3 – How will you operate your company? Where will you get supplies, make your product? What will your employees do? Slide 4 – How will you market your company? Slide 5 – What is your breakeven analysis? Can you turn a profit the first year?

Business Plan Presentations Grades for the presentation will be based on this system: 0-5 points – Quality of PowerPoint slides. English is correct. Design is appropriate (not too many words). Slides covers important points (why your company is special, how it will operate, how you will market your business, how your breakeven point was calculated). A copy is printed off and given to the professor. 0-5 points – Quality of presentation. Speech is clear. Pronunciation is correct. You speak to the class. You do not read your slides or face the screen. Your presentation is completed in 5 minutes.

Our Financial Plan Start up costs: car, advertising – 5000 OMR Ongoing costs: wages (300) + petrol (30) + Insurance (50) = 380 OMR per month Sales costs: 10% to partner companies Profit: 40 OMR – 4 OMR sales cost = 36 OMR per person Breakeven: (5000 + 4560)/36 = 265.55 I need to attract 266 tourists the first year to break even
