Biology Course Unit 1 – the study of life Divided into 3 sections including Ecology, Food and Characteristics of Life

Unit 2 – The Cell Including Genetics, Cell Metabolism and Enzymes

Unit 3 – The Organism Microbiology, Plant Structure and Human Biology

22 Mandatory Experiments Tested in the written exam

Exam Structure 3 hour written exam Section A - Six short questions (answer five) Section B - Three questions on practical activities (answer two) Section C - Six long questions (answer four)

Comments A considerable amount of learning and study is necessary to do well in this subject, it is an extremely long course and my advice would be to chat to someone in 6th year or who has completed the course.
