Blends long vowel phonemes ee oa oo These long vowel phonemes are to be covered in Year 1 term 3.

ee tr ee ee s ee ee The children say ‘tr’ then say ‘ee’ then put the two together and say ‘tree’. The blends then come together as one word. Repeat for ‘see’. NOTE: This presentation could be used as a template for other lessons if you wish. You would need to ‘highlighted’ the blends and words and change them for your own.
