Agenda – Summary March 31 April 1 AM Welcome and overview (Weglein) Prestack leading order imaging series (S. Shaw) Non-linear direct inversion (H. Zhang) PM Imaging headwaves (B. Nita) Inversion for absorptive/dispersive media (K. Innanen) Questions/discussion Wavelet estimation (Z. Guo) Deghosting (J. Zhang) Data reconstruction (F. Miranda) Scattering series with lateral variation (F. Liu) Coupling imaging and inversion tasks (K. Innanen) Summary and plans (A. Weglein) Invited talks Seismic angle tomography (B. Ursin) Migration imaging at LANL (M. Fehler) 3D surface related multiple elimination (K. Hokstad) Free surface multiple elimination (B. Bednar) 5:30 Advisory Board Meeting 7:15 Advisory Board Dinner Fogo de Chao

Plan Progress all imaging, inversion and prerequisite satisfaction projects towards complex multi-D synthetic and field data tests and evaluation. Initiate a project into multiple attenuation fundamental studies and algorithmic development - focusing on internal multiples in 2D and then 3D. The concomitant 2D/3D data reconstruction, wavelet and deghosting projects will be coordinated with the internal multiple project. Meeting with sponsors in mid-May to decide on resources and schedule.
