Choosing a device. Select an appropriate device for individuals. You must explain what features the device/s have/has to meet the lifestyle need of the person. You need to highlight these features and link them to the persons life. It could be that they need more than one device! Think carefully and justify your selection.

Example. Jack is a data freak. He saves so many pictures, files, songs and games that he has memory sticks everywhere. He is always loosing them. He also has a mad dog at home, so it needs to be robust. Option 1; Toshiba Canvio 500GB portable hard drive. This Would hold upto 350 MP3 tracks or 750 pictures. Option 2; USB memorystick wristband. As Jack always Looses his data, this would be good as it locks onto his Wrist and is more difficult to loose. Option 3; Western 1TB external hard drive. This has double The capacity of option 1, and would mean that he would Only need one storage device. Conclusion; I think that Jack should go for option 3 as this will mean that he can store over 1000 pictures and as it is one device, he is less likely to loose it.

Tom. Tom is a modern man! He lives in the City of London and goes out a lot. He needs something to make sure he doesnt get lost in the City, and that he can keep in contact with his long list of contacts. What would you select for him?

Gemma Gemma is a music freak. She loves to listen to her tunes while she travel on the train to work. But she also likes to take pictures as she works as a newspaper photographer. What devices would you select for her? Justify.

Fred Fred is an outdoors person who likes skiing, rock climbing and paragliding. He needs a way of recording all of his experiences, but needs the device(s) to be adventure proof! What would you select for him and why?

Natalie Natalie is a party girl. She goes out to clubs all over the country in her little car. She has friends all over the place, but sometimes struggles to find the places she needs to get to. She also hates being stuck in traffic! Which device would you select for her and why?
