Believing once saved always saved. Talk of third and forth comings of Christ.

Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord: The attitude one has regarding God’s scripture. Spend time with it, revere it. If you don’t know what’s in God’s Word people can tell you anything they want. How would you know, you didn’t read it? Once they begin to follow along the broad path of error they fall deeper into their error 2Thes 2:9-12

The Old Testament way The first 5 books (The Pentateuch) of the Bible list God’s commands for the Israelites 613 commands over 200 punishments If they kept His commandments, He would be their God. This law was their schoolmaster to prepare them for the Savior Gal 3:24

The New Testament way “The fullness of time” Gal 4:3-5 Mankind was ready for a spiritual relationship with God - God considers man ready to walk in the light. Jesus gave His commands in contextual situations. He outlined the character of a Christian in Mathew Chapter 5, 6 and 7. We see not just the right and wrong but the Proper application of His commands. John 12:48-49

The New Testament way The Apostles do list right & wrong. 2Tim 2:19 -26, 2 Tim 3:1-9, Gal 5:14-26 They addressed the fruits of the spirit & how to develop and nurture them. 2Pet 1:5-8 We must to walk by the spirit. Gal 5:25 We must walk in the light. Eph 5:8 Finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. Eph 5:10
