Course Introduction Course Goals As a result of completing the tasks assigned in this course (both 501 and 502), the student will be able to do the following: Read any Greek word on sight Translate various forms over 200 Greek words Translate simple Greek sentences Recognize the different cases of Greek nouns Recognize and translate twelve different verb forms Course Texts Summers and Sawyer, R. Course Introduction (cont.) Course Schedule This course covers 16 hours of class work. During this time, we will cover the first 8 chapters of the textbook. Standards The students are responsible to memorize the vocabulary and to master the elements of grammar in each lesson. Homework will be accepted on the date on which it is due. Late work is accepted with penalty. Only 1 absences are allowed by the school policy, but the student is required to make up/catch up the class work.
