Strategies for academic success There are a number of things you can do be successful in class, but you have to make the choice to do them. Visit your instructors’ office hours to get clarification on class content you are not understanding. Create a study group in class. Remember the students you introduced yourself to the first week of class? Ask if they want to get together to study in the RSC or at Starbucks. Review your class syllabus – again. Make sure you know where you stand in each class academically and what it will take for you to earn your desired grade. Revisit your study schedule to make adjustments and block out study time for the end of the semester. Make sure you have the necessary supplies you need for your final assignments and projects. Clean and organize your dedicated study space to decrease stress. Fall 2018
