3 600A and 14kA connections : 2 sessions with screwed and crimped 600A connection 1 test with 14kA screwed connections. Pray-Hand: 3 tests,12000 cycles up to 9kA, without kapton belt 2000 cycles up to3kA and 12000cycles up to 6kA Factor was1.5 on current, 2.25 on forces and about 10 on lifetime No resistance degradation after cycling. Diode: one session with thermal dependence and 4sessions of 4 diodes. Copper Bar: A 4 cm defect was introduced in a 5m long copper bar of cross section 20X10mm, to estimate the current carrying capacity of copper in case of a default in a bus bar. We were able to regulate at different stables temperatures (24k, 13k, 40k,…). Defect machined out of the bar

4 KIT Wiggler: 5 tests during the year. the goal was to ramp up to 175A, but only 156A have been reached. TQS03: 3 tests – Aging with 1000 cycles up to11kA with a quench after each 150 cycles. - Loss measurements: electrically and by cryogenic measurements of the dissipated power. - Magnetic measurements. Russian Wiggler: one test with shielding (max current 120A). HFM: SMC Component qualification at cold, test with dummy and real coils, powering one coil at 7784A. MgB 2 : -5 tests of cables and wires samples during the year. -2 bending tests with different radius. HIE Isolde: Nb3Sn 2 tests of both impregnated and ceramic solenoids
