Application process Apply for Inn’s Scholarships: the Inns’ BPTC Scholarships deadline is first Friday in November in the year before starting the BPTC. Apply for BPTC through the Central Applications system at www.barsas.com Join an Inn of Court (compulsory to join by 31 May before starting BPTC) Undertake the Bar Course Aptitude Test (BCAT) usually opens in January for that year. Attend Pupillage Fairs.
BarSaS Usually opens for applications mid-December. Usually closes for first round applications a month later around mid-January. Applicants can apply to 6 providers and must state order of preference. Providers review applications and make offers around early March. Deadline to accept offers around early April. Clearing opens a few weeks later and usually closes around early September. Term begins early/mid September.
