Writing Abstract This study was carried out in order to identify the effectiveness of using multimedia in classroom among the students of Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. A total of 123 students from three different fields in the faculty were chosen to be the respondents of the study. A set of questionnaire and interview questions were designed and distributed to obtain the primary data. The overall findings of the study signify that the use of multimedia really helps in teaching and learning process. In conclusion, some suggestions have been put forward to improve the effect of using multimedia in the classrooms in Faculty of Education. Besides, other recommendations for future research have also been included in the final part of this report.
