Three Trucks to replace 5532 – 1985 Chevy 1 ton Brush Truck 5544 – 1975 Ford ,500 gal tender 5503 – 1981 Mack Engine – Note; There may be an argument of keeping 5503 and sending – 5533, the CSFS Truck back has greater firefighting capacity than the converted military 6x6

VENDERS WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH 1. Darley -- Both 5501 and 5502 were built by Darley -- We also have Darley pumps in our other trucks 2. Odin Foam/Darley was built by Odin Foam/Darley 3. US Tanker -- Both 5541 and 5542 were built by Darley 4. SVI was built by SVI located in Ft Collins 5. Pierce -- Distributor located in Frederick, CO 6. Blanchat Mfg. has some interesting features for a Brush Truck -- Located in Kansas Blanchat brought a truck to us to see in our District FiroVac has a unique vacuum tank vs a regular tank -- FiroVac will bring a truck for us to see in our District in July 8. Has 19,500 lb GVWR -- Dodge also offers this load carrying capacity but does not offer extended cab. Comes with dual rear wheels but we may convert to single rear wheel for better off road performance – g. 6" Black Molded running boards – h. Cummins ISX 12 or ISX15 or Mack Equivalent c. Allison 4500 EVS 6 speed Transmission d. 4X4 -- This will require conversion from regular rear wheel drive – 1. Tulsa Truck does this conversion e. Single Rear Axle f. 2,000 gal tank on Tender g. CAFS and 1,000 gal booster tank for engine h. Thelma Retarder -- May be able to get this braking feature with "Jake" type engine braking i. Minimum wheel base – 183 if possible
