This side will be facing your notebook. Line Definitions Alternate Interior Angles This side will be facing your notebook. Alternate Exterior Angles Corresponding Angles

In the center of the foldable.

Perpendicular lines are lines that intersect at right angles. (Symbol ) Parallel lines are lines that do not intersect. (Symbol ) A line that intersects two or more other lines is called a transversal

Inside the Flap of Alternate Interior Angles Alternate interior angles are angles on opposite sides of the transversal and inside the two parallel lines. They are congruent. < 3 & < 6 and < 4 & < 5 are alternate interior angles

Inside the Flap of Alternate Exterior Angles Alternate exterior angles are angles on opposite sides of the transversal and outside the two parallel lines. They are congruent. < 1 & < 8 and < 2 & < 7 are alternate exterior angles

Inside the Flap of Corresponding Angles Corresponding angles are angles in the same position on the two parallel lines in relation to the transversal. They are congruent. < 1 & < 5, < 2 & < 6, < 4 & < 8 and < 3 & < 7 are corresponding angles

List all alternate interior angles, alternate exterior angles, and corresponding angles. < 4 & < 5 Alternate exterior < 1 & < 8 and < 2 & < 7 Corresponding angles < 1 & < 5, < 2 & < 6, <3 & < 7, and < 4 & <8
